There is no doubt that we consider peace as our national priority and we are confident that achieving this sacred goal require sacrifices from the President to the lowest level of the Afghan people. Looking at the structure of the Reconciliation Council, it seems that the authorities of the two electoral teams, instead of building a political consensus for peace, divided the Reconciliation Council between the two teams.
Harakat-e-Inqelab-e-Islami considers this as unfortunate as reserves its right to oppose this evil initiative.
Harakat urges on the presidential palace that instead of playing with the aspirations of the nation, they need to seek understanding of the ground realities, feel the pain of the people and try to establish a reconciliation council that can truly represent the nation.
